I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail and I doubt making a new save will solve the issue either. So I've already checked game files integrity and nothing was missing. Silver Ridge Peaks and Te Awaroa National Park seem to work fine when I played them too. I have yet to test any of the other reserves but one that seems to have no issues spawning animals is Vurhonga Savanna, which still spawns all the animals in their usual spawn locations and routes. This doesn't only happen in Layton Lake but also in Cuatro Colinas, and Yukon Valley from what I've noticed so far. Now, for one it's made hunting larger trophies easier but I've grown bored of it already and I'd like to get back to tracking animals like the game intended. It seems I've encountered a bug where all the animals around the reserve solely spawn directly at the center of the map, and this isn't just one species but all species that belong to that reserve. As I got closer to the center it got worse until I found out what it was. So I continued hunting my vast empty reserves of what seemed to have a maximum of 5 animals throughout until I was on the Layton Lake Reserve and all of a sudden as I was approaching the center of the map my game took a huge FPS hit. However, to my surprise the file still had a decent size when I checked it in my file explorer. Recently I've been noticing my reserves have been pretty empty and my first thought was that it must be the animal population file that has to be reset.
